CT - hard to find trail maps

From: defygravity (defygravity@snet.net) | Date: 2002-09-03 20:14:22 UTC-04:00

Hi all, today I scanned and downloaded (see files link) a few trail maps which aren't necessarily always available on site.
If you like to have map-in-hand when leaving the house, or to plan out a route with more than one set of clues, here are maps for:
Canfield Woods/Meadow Woods in Essex & Deep River
Chatfield Hollow in Killingworth
Gillette Castle Park in Hadlyme
Timberland Trails in Guilford (not to be confused with Timberlin Park in Berlin)

http://groups.yahoo.com/group/letterbox-usa/files/

They are all in .pdf (Adobe Acrobat) format. If you don't already have Acrobat Reader, it's FREE from the www.adobe.com website.

Sleeping Giant also has their map available in .pdf on their website

That's a great help Aili, thanks for doing that!

Thanks for the maps especially for the Canfield Woods.  We were there in April or so and there were none, so we could not find the FAB 4.  Now we have a reason to go back.

As I am finding out, there is a lot more to this than just LBs.  Working through the computer issues,(links and stuff) is a whole other challenge.  At least to one from the abacus age.

Will bring you to the list's main page. From there, you'll see a box
on the left with "Files" and all kinds of other fun stuff. :)
